Nathan Medd
Nathan Medd is Managing Producer for Electric Company Theatre. A graduate of the Theatre Department at the University of Victoria, he co-founded Victoria’s Metro Studio in 2004/05 as Operations Manager at Intrepid Theatre. Nathan enjoyed three seasons as the Belfry Theatre’s House Manager, and a further three at the Victoria Fringe, as Development and Volunteer Coordinator. He later joined the BC Arts Council in the provincial ministry of Tourism, Sport, and The Arts, as Theatre Program Coordinator, tending to grants and policy review. There he met Electric Co AD Jonathon Young, and was lured back to the independent theatre community. Nathan has served as an adjudicator for Theatre BC, and his professional production credits include the Belfry (video, Nowhere Revolution), Viva Musica Kelowna (ASM, Elixir of Love), Victoria Symphony (performer, Hamlet), and Theatre Inconnu (set, Faust). Nathan is a freelance graphic designer.
