You Are Very Star

Work in Development.

In Development.

Electric Company is in residence at the H.R. Macmillan Space Centre, collaborating on an experiment. Perched like a space ship in Vanier Park, the Space Centre is being shifted from its position in your consciousness as a field-trip destination of childhood into a newly devised dream generator that puts you, the visitor, into the head of a sleeping test subject.

Your choices, questions, thoughts, and desires will determine where you will travel in the recesses of the sleeping mind. What will you find? What will you leave to be found by others? And what happens when the fate of the world is in your hands?

YOU ARE VERY STAR is an immersive, interactive experience in development and part of the Greenest City Conversation project that is currently being conducted at UBC’s Institute for Resources, Environment and Sustainability.

Come play with us, after closing, when we’re alone in the empty Space Centre, filled with its ghosts, memories, and visions of the future. Try to remember what it was we all had hoped for.
