Happy Holidays from the Electrics!

While we get ready to welcome the new year, we want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support and take this opportunity to wish you a wonderful holiday season. As we look back at 2021, a year that was filled with changing safety and health regulations that deeply affected live performance, we are grateful that we could share so much with you. In February, we were able to host Unmasking The Future and share the exciting new works that we are developing entirely online. In July, Jon’s An Undeveloped Sound (working title) was able to get a full workshop at SFU Woodward’s – which we will welcome you for in-person in the new year. In August, we were able to have a world premiere for our immersive theatrical solo experience The Magic Hour with more than 1,000 people safely coming to see the show in person. In November, along with Single Thread Theatre, we were able to reach many of you through virtual and augmented reality at PXR2021 – which helped us feel closer during this isolating time. We saw some of our staff members leave, and welcomed new ones into our family but most importantly, we were able to bring you along with us throughout those experiences. None of this would have been possible without your constant support, especially during this pivotal time in our arts community. We look forward to sharing our journey with you in the new year! Until then, we hope you stay safe and well, and to see you all very soon.
